The Summer Reading Challenge, organised by The Reading Agency, www.summerreadingchallenge.org.uk, has been running for many years in UK libraries and its aim is to keep children reading through the summer holidays in a fun way. Children, aged 4-11 years, are challenged to read a total of 6 library books and receive a “Story Garden” collector sheet and special reward stickers and prizes.
Children can sign-up to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge from Saturday, 5th July at North Hykeham Library, Valerian Place, LN6 9YW.
